NOW Sports Membership Price: Every Plan Explained

The NOW Sports membership price depends on which plan you pick. At the time of writing, NOW’s help centre lists a Day Membership at £14.99, Multi-Sport at £26.99 a month, Football at £30.99 a month and All Sky Sports at £34.99 a month on Flexible terms, with cheaper Saver prices if you commit for a minimum term.

NOW is Sky’s contract-free streaming service, so these memberships give you Sky Sports channels without a dish, box or long Sky contract. Here is exactly what each one costs and includes.

What each membership includes

Day Membership

A one-off payment for 24 hours of every Sky Sports channel. It starts as soon as you buy it, so purchase it shortly before the match or race, not the night before.

Football Membership

Covers Sky Sports Premier League, Sky Sports Football, Racing, Mix and News, plus Sky Sports+ football streams. NOW notes that UHD channels and Dolby Atmos are not included on this plan.

Multi-Sport Membership

Built for everything except football: Sky Sports F1, Cricket, Golf, Tennis, Action, Racing, Mix and News, plus non-football Sky Sports+ streams. NOW says UHD and Dolby Atmos are only available on Sky Sports F1 UHD (and the Darts World Championship outside the F1 season).

All Sky Sports Membership

The full set of 12 Sky Sports channels and live Sky Sports+ streams. You cannot combine it with another sports membership, but you can hold Football and Multi-Sport together if you prefer.

Flexible vs Saver: which is cheaper?

Flexible plans can be cancelled any time and roll month to month. Saver plans cost less each month but have a minimum term, and you must keep paying until it ends.

There is another catch: NOW says Saver prices are only for members billed directly by NOW, not those who subscribed through a third party such as Apple or Amazon. If you want the Saver discount, sign up on NOW’s own website.

Here is the yearly difference based on the listed prices:

Plan12 months Flexible12 months SaverSaving
Multi-Sport£323.88£239.88£84
Football£371.88£287.88£84
All Sky Sports£419.88£335.88£84

Picture quality and Boost

The base membership streams in standard quality. NOW offers a Boost upgrade that lifts picture quality to HD, and an Ultra Boost option that adds UHD on supported channels. Check NOW’s site for the current Boost price, because it is charged on top of your sports membership. Note that Boost cannot be added if a Day Membership is your only active membership.

Your connection matters too. If streams stutter during big matches, read our guide on why streams buffer, and make sure your device is up to date with our best streaming device guide.

Ways to pay less for NOW Sports

  1. Pick the right plan. If you only watch football, the Football Membership is £4 a month cheaper than All Sky Sports on Flexible terms.
  2. Use Saver if you are certain. Committing saves around £84 a year on any monthly plan at current prices.
  3. Use Day passes for occasional viewing. One or two big events a month cost less on Day Memberships than All Sky Sports on Flexible.
  4. Pause in the off-season. On Flexible, cancel when your sport is not on and rejoin later.
  5. Watch for offers. NOW runs periodic promotions, usually through its own site.

NOW Sports does not include TNT Sports, so Premier League fans who want every televised match will also need that separately. For a wider line-up, our own IPTV Journal plan costs $89 for 12 months (billed in US dollars); as with any service, check it carries the rights to what you want to watch.

Devices that support NOW

NOW works on a wide range of devices, including its own NOW Smart Stick, many smart TVs, games consoles, streaming sticks, phones, tablets and web browsers. Device support can change, so check NOW’s device list before you buy a membership for a particular TV.

A wired or strong Wi-Fi connection makes the biggest difference during live sport, especially on Saturday afternoons and big race weekends when demand is highest.

Is NOW Sports worth it?

For most people who want Sky Sports without a long contract, yes. You get the same channels as Sky customers, you can cancel Flexible plans any time, and the new Football and Multi-Sport options mean you no longer pay for sports you never watch. If you also want TNT Sports or broader TV, compare it with the alternatives in our UK IPTV guide.
