TNT Sports Price 2026: HBO Max, BT, Sky and Virgin

The TNT Sports price in 2026 starts at £30.99 a month on its own through HBO Max, or £25.99 a month if you sign up for a 12-month Saver plan, based on Warner Bros. Discovery’s launch announcement. You can also get it through BT, Sky or Virgin Media, and those prices differ, so the cheapest route depends on who supplies your TV and broadband.

The biggest change this year is that TNT Sports moved from discovery+ to HBO Max, which launched in the UK on 26 March 2026. Here is what that means for your bill.

TNT Sports via HBO Max: the prices

These figures come from Warner Bros. Discovery’s UK launch press release. Check HBO Max’s site before you subscribe, as prices and offers change.

Two things stand out. First, the Saver plans save a significant amount if you are sure you will watch all year: the bundles save between £107.88 and £131.88 a year compared with paying monthly, according to the release. Second, HBO Max’s cheapest Basic with Ads plan cannot be combined with TNT Sports.

Should you add HBO Max shows?

If you already watch HBO series, the bundles are worth a look. HBO Max Standard on its own is £9.99 a month, so the Standard and TNT Sports bundle at £40.98 monthly is simply the two prices added together. The real saving comes from the Saver versions, which bring that bundle down to £30.99 a month on a 12-month plan.

If you never watch HBO content, stick with TNT Sports alone and avoid paying for a library you will not use.

TNT Sports through BT

BT has carried TNT Sports (formerly BT Sport) for years, and its pricing changed again in 2026:

• With a BT broadband package: ISPreview reported HBO Max with TNT Sports at £25 a month.
• Older BT packages that once included TNT Sports free: BT told affected customers they would pay from 16 October 2026, with an offer to keep it at £15 a month on a 30-day rolling contract.

If you are a long-standing BT customer, read any email from BT carefully. That £15 offer is described as only for existing customers, so it may be your cheapest option.

TNT Sports through Sky

On Sky Stream and Sky Glass, Sky’s shop lists TNT Sports as an extra at £34 a month on a 31-day rolling term at the time of writing. Sky notes the offer is not available to people who already subscribe to TNT Sports elsewhere.

That is more than the HBO Max standalone price, but some people value having everything on one remote and one bill.

TNT Sports through Virgin Media

Virgin Media’s Bigger TV + Sports bundle, at around £50 a month on top of broadband, includes both TNT Sports and Sky Sports. If you want both, this can work out cheaper than paying for them separately.

What does TNT Sports show?

TNT Sports holds UK rights to a mix of football, rugby, motorsport and combat sports, including selected Premier League matches and UEFA club competitions, Premiership Rugby, MotoGP and UFC. Rights change between seasons, so check TNT Sports’ schedule for the competitions you care about before signing a 12-month plan.

Monthly vs Saver: doing the maths

The standalone TNT Sports Saver plan at £25.99 a month comes to £311.88 over 12 months, while paying £30.99 monthly for a full year would cost £371.88. That is a £60 saving, as Warner Bros. Discovery points out.

But if you only want TNT Sports for, say, eight months of the football season, paying monthly comes to £247.92, which is cheaper than a full year on Saver. Count the months you will genuinely watch before committing to 12 months.

Which TNT Sports option is cheapest?

Watching TNT Sports reliably

HBO Max streams over your broadband, so a stable connection matters during big matches. If you see buffering, our explainer on what causes stream buffering has practical fixes, and our streaming device guide can help if your TV’s apps are slow.

Avoid unofficial TNT Sports streams; they are illegal in the UK and unreliable. For broader international TV, our own IPTV Journal plan costs $89 for 12 months (billed in US dollars), but sports rights are territorial, so always choose providers that are licensed for what they show.
