TiviMate Premium: How to Buy, Activate and Move It

TiviMate Premium is the paid upgrade for the TiviMate IPTV Player. You buy it inside the official TiviMate Companion app on an Android phone or tablet, create a TiviMate account during checkout, then sign in with that account in TiviMate on your TV to unlock it. One purchase covers several devices, and you manage them from the Companion app. This guide walks through buying, activating, moving and troubleshooting Premium step by step.

Menu names shift a little between versions, so if a label on your screen differs from ours, look for the closest match. Premium unlocks app features only: TiviMate ships with no channels, so you still need a playlist from a provider.

What TiviMate Premium unlocks

The short version: Premium adds recording, multi-view, support for more than one playlist and extra customization of the guide and interface. The free version handles basic live TV with a grid guide. For a full side-by-side table of what is free and what is paid, see our TiviMate free vs Premium comparison. This page is about the buying and activation side.

Premium does not change your channel line-up, picture quality or stream reliability. Those come from your provider and your network. If a stream buffers in the free version, it will buffer in Premium too.

How much is TiviMate Premium?

The developer does not publish a price list on its store listings, and the price you pay is shown in the Companion app at checkout, in your local currency, plus any sales tax. At the time of writing, independent guides reported a one-time lifetime license of around $34 in the US. Treat that as a guide only and confirm the figure in the app before you pay.

On plan types, an annual subscription and a lifetime license have both been offered over the years, and the mix has changed between versions. Because we could not confirm which options the developer sells on any given day, check the plan list in the Companion app. If both are shown, the lifetime option usually makes more sense if you expect to keep using TiviMate for more than a couple of years.

Be wary of “TiviMate Premium” offers on marketplaces, resale sites or deal pages selling activation codes. The official route is the Companion app, and anything else risks a license that stops working.

How to buy TiviMate Premium in the Companion app

TiviMate Companion is published on Google Play by Armobsoft FZE, the same developer as TiviMate. Its listing says it is not an IPTV player: its job is to unlock Premium on devices without Google Play and to manage your activated devices.

  1. On an Android phone or tablet, open Google Play and install TiviMate Companion by Armobsoft FZE.
  2. Open the app and create a TiviMate account with your email and a password. Write the login down; you will type it on your TV.
  3. Choose the Premium option shown and pay through the checkout.
  4. Once payment completes, the app shows your account as Premium.

If you do not own an Android phone or tablet, ask a family member to install Companion on theirs and sign in with your own account, or check tivimate.com for any other purchase options listed there. Do not buy through a third party who sets up the account for you, because you would not control the login.

How to activate TiviMate Premium on your TV

Activation links a device to your account. You do it from TiviMate on the TV, not from the phone.

  1. Open TiviMate on your Android TV, Google TV or Fire OS device and go to Settings.
  2. Select the Premium or account entry (often labeled Unlock Premium).
  3. Choose to sign in with your account and enter the email and password you created in Companion.
  4. Give the device a name you will recognize later, such as “Living room Shield”.
  5. Confirm. Premium options become available straight away; restart the app if they do not.

Using a clear device name matters more than it seems. When you later need to free a slot, the device list in Companion is the only place you see them, and “Android TV” three times over is not much help.

How many devices does Premium cover?

A single Premium account covers more than one device. Third-party guides commonly report a limit of five devices, which matches how most households use it, but the developer’s listings do not state the number, so confirm the limit shown in your Companion app.

Each activated device counts toward the limit whether you use it daily or not. That old stick in a drawer still holds a slot until you remove it.

Managing your TiviMate account and moving Premium

Your Premium belongs to your TiviMate account, not to a single box. That makes moving it simple.

SituationWhat to do
New streaming deviceInstall TiviMate, add your playlist, then sign in under Settings with your account
Device limit reachedOpen Companion, go to your devices list, remove one you no longer use, then activate the new one
Factory reset or reinstallReinstall TiviMate, sign in again; the device may appear twice in Companion, so remove the old entry
Selling or giving away a deviceRemove it from your devices list in Companion first
Forgot passwordUse the password reset option in Companion

Premium does not copy your playlists, favorites or hidden groups to the new device. Use TiviMate’s backup option before you switch: save a backup file to a USB drive or cloud folder, then restore it on the new device. Our TiviMate setup guide covers installing and adding a playlist on a fresh device.

Refunds and billing problems

Purchases made through Google Play follow Google Play’s refund process, which you start from your Google Play order history. Google’s help pages note that many refunds are handled by the app developer under their own policy, and that contacting the developer is often the quickest fix.

  • Charged but Premium not showing: sign out and back in to TiviMate on the TV, and make sure you used the same account as in Companion.
  • Bought twice by mistake: request a refund for the duplicate through Google Play.
  • Need the developer: use the contact options listed on tivimate.com or the developer contact shown on the Google Play listing.

Refunds are never guaranteed, so test the free version properly before you buy.

Avoid cracked “Premium” APKs

Modded APKs that claim to unlock Premium for free are common in search results. They break the developer’s terms, do not get official updates, and can carry malware that steals logins, including your provider credentials. Some stop working after a server-side check and leave you with no way to recover. The official upgrade costs far less than cleaning up a compromised account, so it is not worth the risk.

Is Premium worth it for you?

Buy Premium if you want to record, watch several games at once with multi-view or combine more than one playlist. Skip it if you only flip between live channels; the free version already does that well. Either way, the bigger cost is the service you load into the player. If you still need one, our plan, IPTV Journal, is a single 12-month option for $89 with an Xtream Codes login and EPG that work in TiviMate; you can see the plan details here. IPTV technology is legal, but only use services that hold the rights to their channels, as we explain in is TiviMate legal.
