If you want to know how to watch Premier League in Canada, the rights sit with Fubo Canada, which carries every match of the season. Since a 2025 partnership, you can also watch through Fubo Sports on DAZN, included in DAZN’s DAZN+ tier. Both stream on smart TVs, phones and streaming devices, with no cable needed.
The choice comes down to what else you watch. Fubo is the focused option for the Premier League and other football, while DAZN+ bundles it with NFL Game Pass and the Champions League. This guide compares the two, with prices in CAD at the time of writing.
Who has Premier League rights in Canada?
Fubo has been the Canadian home of the Premier League, carrying every match, with some games available in 4K. In August 2025, Fubo and DAZN announced a multi-year partnership in Canada that put the Fubo Sports Network on DAZN and let Fubo customers bundle DAZN.
DAZN’s own coverage of the 2026-27 season confirms that Canadians can watch the Premier League and Serie A through Fubo Sports on DAZN, listed under the DAZN+ tier rather than DAZN Standard.
Fubo Canada vs DAZN+: side by side
Here is how the two routes compare at the time of writing.
| Fubo Canada | DAZN+ | |
|---|---|---|
| Approx. price | $31.49/month or $231/year (Daily Hive, July 2026) | Around $44.99/month on a 12-month plan |
| Premier League | Every match | Via Fubo Sports on DAZN |
| Other football | Ligue 1, CONCACAF and more | Champions League, Europa League, Serie A via Fubo Sports |
| American football | No | NFL Game Pass |
| Extra channels | Around 65 other channels | Boxing and other DAZN sports |
If the Premier League is your main sport, Fubo Canada is cheaper. If you also want the Champions League and NFL, DAZN+ can replace two separate subscriptions.
Kick-off times in Canada
Premier League matches are scheduled for UK audiences, which means early starts in Canada. Saturday 3 p.m. UK kick-offs land around 10 a.m. ET and 7 a.m. PT, while early Saturday matches can start before 8 a.m. ET. Weekday evening matches in England usually fall in the early-to-mid afternoon in Canada.
That makes replays and catch-up features valuable, especially in Western Canada. Both Fubo and DAZN offer on-demand viewing after matches; check each service’s replay window before you choose.
Cost over a full season
The Premier League runs from August to May, roughly ten months. Here is a rough comparison at the time of writing, in CAD before tax.
- Fubo Canada, annual: around $231 for the year.
- Fubo Canada, monthly for ten months: about 10 x $31.49, roughly $315.
- DAZN+, 12-month plan: about 12 x $44.99, roughly $540, but it also covers the Champions League and NFL Game Pass.
- Separate Fubo annual plus DAZN Standard on a 12-month plan: about $231 plus roughly $300, which is close to the DAZN+ cost.
If you only need the Premier League, Fubo’s annual plan is the cheapest legal route. If you want everything, compare the DAZN+ price with the Fubo and DAZN bundle offers, which the two companies have promoted since their 2025 partnership.
How to set up Fubo Canada
- Visit Fubo’s Canadian site or download the Fubo app on your TV, phone or streaming device.
- Choose your plan. Compare monthly against annual billing, which works out cheaper over a full season.
- Sign in on your TV app and add your club as a favourite so its matches appear first.
- If you have a 4K TV, check which matches Fubo offers in 4K and make sure your device and connection support it.
Our 4K streaming requirements guide explains the bandwidth and hardware needed.
How to set up DAZN+
- Go to DAZN’s Canadian site or download the DAZN app.
- Pick DAZN+ or DAZN+ Ultimate. Standard does not include Fubo Sports.
- Ultimate adds no pre-roll ads, multi-view and downloads, with 4K/HDR listed as coming later in the season.
- Find Fubo Sports in the DAZN app’s live schedule on matchdays.
What about the US and UK options?
You may see guides recommending Peacock, USA Network, Sky Sports or TNT Sports. Those are the US and UK rights holders and do not hold Canadian rights. Using VPNs to reach them breaks their terms and is not something we recommend. If you are curious how the US side works, our guide on Premier League channels in the USA explains it.
Stay with licensed streams
Unofficial football streams are everywhere on matchdays, but they are unlicensed, often laggy and frequently loaded with pop-ups or malware. IPTV technology is legal; services that rebroadcast Fubo or DAZN without permission are not. Our guide to IPTV legality in Canada explains where the line is.
If you also want a general live TV package for news and entertainment, our own plan, IPTV Journal, is $89 for 12 months on all devices; see our pricing section. For Premier League matches, Fubo and DAZN are the licensed routes.
Which option should you choose?
Choose Fubo Canada if the Premier League is your priority and you want the lowest cost for every match, plus Ligue 1 and CONCACAF. Choose DAZN+ if you also follow the Champions League or the NFL, since one subscription covers all three. Either way, pay annually if you plan to watch from August to May, and use replays to avoid the early alarms.
