Where to Watch Golf: PGA Tour on TV and Streaming

If you are looking for where to watch golf on the PGA Tour, coverage is split four ways. Golf Channel carries early rounds and many full events, CBS and NBC handle most weekend broadcast windows, and PGA Tour Live on ESPN+ streams extra featured groups and holes. For the FedExCup Fall events running now, Golf Channel is the main home, with ESPN+ adding streams for the U.S.-based tournaments.

Below is a breakdown of each partner, the TV schedule for the rest of the fall, and the cheapest legal ways to stream the PGA Tour.

Who shows the PGA Tour in the U.S.

PartnerWhat it coversHow to stream
Golf ChannelThursday and Friday rounds, early weekend coverage, full coverage of many fall eventsLive TV services, Golf Channel app with a TV login
CBSWeekend coverage of most events in its part of the seasonAntenna, live TV service, Paramount+
NBCWeekend coverage of its events, plus team events such as the Presidents CupAntenna, live TV service, Peacock for many NBC windows
ESPN+ (PGA Tour Live)Featured groups, featured holes and full-round streams at most U.S. eventsESPN app with ESPN+ content
ESPNSelect early-round coverage at some eventsESPN app, live TV services

At the 2026 Tour Championship in August, for example, ESPN had the late-morning window on Thursday and Friday, Golf Channel carried the afternoon, and CBS took the weekend, with ESPN+ streaming throughout. That pattern of streaming in the morning, cable in the afternoon and broadcast on the weekend is typical of a regular-season PGA Tour event.

FedExCup Fall 2026: where each event airs

After the Tour Championship, the PGA Tour moves into its FedExCup Fall series. According to the PGA Tour, all eight fall events air on Golf Channel, and domestic events also stream on PGA Tour Live via ESPN+.

How to watch Golf Channel without cable

Golf Channel is the single most important channel for a PGA Tour fan, especially in the fall. It is a cable channel, now part of Versant after its spin-off from NBCUniversal, so you need cable, satellite or a live TV streaming service. Services that carry it include:

  • YouTube TV (base plan about $82.99/month)
  • Hulu + Live TV
  • Fubo
  • DirecTV Stream
  • Sling TV

Once you have one of these, you can also sign in to the Golf Channel app or golfchannel.com to watch on other devices. Lineups differ by package and region, so check that Golf Channel is in the specific tier before you subscribe.

Prices are the advertised U.S. rates at the time of writing and can change. ESPN raised its streaming prices on September 17, 2026, which is reflected above.

If you mostly watch Sunday afternoons, an antenna for CBS and NBC covers the most watched part of each event for free. Our guide to the best TV antennas for local channels explains what to buy. For PGA Tour Live and other ESPN routes, see our guide to the cheapest way to watch ESPN.

Building a golf setup that fits how you watch

  1. Weekend-only viewer: an antenna for CBS and NBC, plus Paramount+ or Peacock if you want to stream on a phone or laptop.
  2. Every-round viewer: a live TV service with Golf Channel, plus ESPN Select for PGA Tour Live.
  3. Fall-season fan: a month-to-month live TV service with Golf Channel through the RSM Classic in November, since the fall events are almost all on Golf Channel.

For devices that run all of these apps, our guide to the best streaming devices compares Roku, Fire TV, Apple TV and Google TV.

Some fans prefer an IPTV subscription that bundles many sports channels. Our own plan, IPTV Journal, is $89 for 12 months. Whatever you choose, use services that are licensed for the channels they carry. IPTV is a legal technology, but unlicensed rebroadcasts are not.

Which option should you choose?

For the rest of 2026, Golf Channel is the channel that matters most, because it carries every FedExCup Fall event. Add ESPN+ content if you like following featured groups at the U.S. events. When the new season begins in January, CBS and NBC weekend windows return, so keep an antenna or Paramount+ and Peacock in mind for then.

FAQ

What channel is the PGA Tour on today?

During the FedExCup Fall, PGA Tour events air on Golf Channel, with domestic events also streaming on PGA Tour Live via ESPN+. During the main season, weekend rounds usually move to CBS or NBC.

Is PGA Tour Live still on ESPN+?

Yes. PGA Tour Live streams featured groups and holes through ESPN+ content in the ESPN app. You can get it with ESPN Select or ESPN Unlimited.

Can I watch Golf Channel on Peacock?

Do not count on it. Golf Channel is now part of Versant rather than NBCUniversal, so the reliable way to watch it is a live TV service or cable package, and Peacock carries only selected NBC golf windows. Check Peacock’s current listings if you want a specific event.

Is the PGA Tour on Paramount+?

Yes, for events that air on CBS. Paramount+ streams CBS’s weekend coverage, but not Golf Channel rounds or PGA Tour Live.

Where can I watch the majors?

The four majors each have their own TV deals, typically split between CBS, NBC, ESPN and Golf Channel or USA Network depending on the event. Check each major’s official site for the U.S. broadcaster before the tournament.
